About Us

Meet Leeroy

meet Lee

Hi, my name is Leeroy.

I’m from Melbourne, Australia where I completed a cabinet making / shop fitting apprenticeship in 1996, after which I tried my hand in joinery making timber windows and door frames then moving into larger scale commercial and civil carpentry.  In 2010 I had the opportunity to move into the crane industry where I worked as a dogman / rigger on both mobile and tower cranes eventually getting my crane operating licenses.

In 2017 I met my partner who is a Kiwi and we migrated to Auckland, New Zealand with our son in 2021 where I have since been working as an independent contractor in the stair and handrail side of construction.

I can accommodate large scale projects having completed a 50-60 unit development made up of mostly three-storey townhouses with over 110 hand rails and not a single defect recorded.

With a strong eye for detail, I pride myself on precision cut quality mitred join with hidden fixings allowing for nice clear coat finishes.
